In 2021, 2,500 novel microbes were discovered in an abandoned NanoFactory. There are 10 unique species, each with a unique genetic makeup and the ability to self-replicate from their own byproduct: GOO! Due to their endearing behaviors, these microbes, and all that would come after them, became known as MicroBuddies.
This is where you can replicate MicroBuddies into their next generation. Replications are highly likely to change your MicroBuddy’s traits and appearance, as well as its GOO productivity.
As you advance your GOO farming skills, you may want more control over the replication process. Use the Genetic Recombobulator (GRC) to lock in an enhanced replication for your MicroBuddy by locking in or swapping out selected traits.
MicroBuddies passively produce all the GOO used for replication and genetic evolution. To claim the GOO all your MicroBuddies have produced, you’ll need to use the GOO extractor
A MicroBuddy's genome is composed of traits. Dominant traits define a MicroBuddy's appearance, while recessive traits have the potential to show up as dominant in a MicroBuddy's next replication.
Traits don't just change a MicroBuddy's appearance, they also play an essential role in GOO production.
MicroBuddies have up to 6 trait types that define their appearance:
